Since I released my ps2 Stls I’ve decided to make a tutorial so anybody that’s interested in making one can get an idea on how to put one together. USE ALL THIS INFO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

IF YOUR USING GMANS PMS THERE IS NO OVERHEATING ISSUES.

This will also be my 3rd and final ps2 using this design, the design is not perfect but will work and there’s plenty of space inside for spaghetti wiring.

Im editing the bottom half so you can use the Regulator board I released made by @Mister M. Alright so I’m going to start with the top Half first since I’m still working on bottom half. I printed the top piece with supports.

Once cleaned up I installed the shoulder buttons they go in from the top side and I use a flat head screw driver to push them in place.

putting together the dpad- action buttons- shoulder buttons for this you’ll need 12 gray soft tact buttons.

I also used 2 tact buttons 6x6x6mm for start/select soldered wires to them then glued in place. I also soldered wires for the shoulder buttons and glued them as well.

1ish.
Question about the cooling system. I notice you only have the heat sink and the fan. Are you cooling this chip? I noticed that Wii portables implement a copper sheet between the CPU and GPU for cooling. Is that also the case for the PS2? What does your cooling setup look like?

Also, I'm surprised Broly didn't destroy your house screaming Kakarot for 5 hours straight. Maybe he likes your pfp

I just use fan + heatsink my heatsink is on that chip you mention, I’m having to much heat on my regulator board not these chips so I need to either add a fan just on the reg board or add bigger heatsink and thermal paste.

luckily broly didn’t do damage to my house lol
