I wasn't sure if I wanted to finish the GS2 or not. I didn't have enough time to debug my custom digital audio amp, the regulators and battery management board, or the docking station. Two weeks before the end of the competition, I decided to begin the GS2 assembly! It's my first PS2 portable to use all the new information I learned from the PS2 compendium I put together earlier this year. I hope to share that documentation with you all soon!

Quick specs:
5" VGA screen
Joysticks from BT controller, PSP action buttons, PS Vita dpad, PS2 start/select, 3D printed shoulder buttons
Stereo speakers, headphones
Low battery indicator and power led
Free Mcboot
Internal USB drive (will be reflashable through the docking station when complete using USB mux)
2x removable 18650s and Battery cover grips

Enjoy!
The case was 3d printed in 6 different parts and super glued together. I smoothed the 3D printed artifacts with bondo and much sanding. It took 3 coats of primer to achieve a smooth finish.

The GS2 holds 2 removable 18650 cells with battery clips. Then a battery cover slides over it and is secured with one machine screw.

The blue led is the power led and the red is the low battery indicator.

Damn, I LOVE those 18650 holders, the way it doubles as a battery holder and a grip for the case. This is amazing Gman.

If this isn't a Wii, then why do I like it so much?

This is a truly inspiring portable. Amazing work on the case, that f**kin trim, the custom PCBs and as always your impeccable wiring.

Really looking forward to your documentation release. If you want any help getting it online (web page, whatever) I'd be more than happy to help out.

I'd like to thank some people that helped me on this project.

@Shank for coming up with the name GS2 and the voice chat/skype sessions that made it less awful to work on when things weren't working
@Aurelio for helping me every step of the way between general electronics advise, troubleshooting, and pcb design. You never failed to make me feel retarded. PS2+ pls
@Lightning for sending me his mostly sanded PS2 boards so I could set up the compendium that made this trim a reality
@Madmorda for also procrastinating to the very end and her part 5 video made up my mind on deciding to finally start
and everyone apart of this great community! Ya'll rock.

This is seriously hands down one of the best PS2 portables (yet) ;) But all in all Gman you're amazing at making portables. Maybe you can even make your own portable console lol, I hope I can be as good as you one day...

I did make the GS2 for myself! Otherwise it wouldn't be "G" lol. You can be as good and even surpass me one day. The secret is to keep bothering @Aurelio with questions, worked for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
