The nice thing is that the regular PTH08080's work for all the voltage lines.

All my wires were the same length at all times. It's distance that seems to matter.

Literally did everything I could without a wiimote. I'M READY

With this setup clock keeps time. Last thing to test is GC fonts, and then the guide goes live.

Clock kept time for awhile, checked later and it was wrong(well, it had stopped rather.) Turns out the battery voltage dropped by an entire volt. Swapped it out, we'll see how it does!

Awesome work, such a compact little package :)

Doesn't one of the lines draw up to 4A, or was that only when 1v and 1.15v were running both on 1.2v? The PTH08080 is rated for 2.25A only.

I think @cheese told me that none of the lines individually draw more than the 2.25A limit. That said, board boots as is; but that doesn't mean it won't tap out under load. You're right to bring that up: I technically haven't tested that personally so there could be a chance that it's possible to overdraw them. That said; these things are sporty for what they are and have never failed me before.

It may have been when they were both on 1.2v, here are my notes on draws of the different voltages:

That's great, I have a few PTH08080 regs :) I think I got was from Loctronics notes, but that could have been for a CPU-01

Works for me. I'll figure it out for sure once I get this wiimote.

I would like to state for the record that these are not the best regulators for this application; they just happened to be on hand and available to me. There are new regulators in town, and they're coming soon. And trust me, they're worth the wait.

Letterbombed + Hackmii installer bundle
Grabbed latest version of nintendont and got it working from this guide
Did not take me longer than 10 minutes at the most, spent more time copying ISO
Loaded starfox from SD to test font data, worked first try.
Was this supposed to be hard or did I miss something

That's good that GC games worked the first try, but Wii games may give you a little more trouble. Are you going to put a drive replacement on there or not?

Why? With SNEEK+DI there's no need for a disc drive

Yes, and I just was asking SS what he intends to do. I don't think GameCube games work through UNEEK or SNEEK emuNAND, at least not yet.

They don't, but I don't see the problem of running Nintendont under the system NAND

I don't think there's a way to have the Wii set up to autoboot to both emuNAND and sysNAND, and autobooting is kind of necessary if you don't want to navigate the system menu.

Sure thing, I'm not talking about autobooting both of them, but booting SNEEK+DI from the homebrew channel seems pretty fast for me...

I call this technique kektooth wiring

100% continuity and no bridging. Standard multi-strand IDE wire.
