Started some work on my first Wii portable this weekend. I completed two OMGWTF trims and I'm really happy with the way that the second one (right) turned out.

Both boards boot to postloader. I wired up bluetooth and USB to the second one and it's loading Wii and GameCube titles just fine.

Really excited to see what I can do with this. I've got a lot of work ahead of me but I think I'm up for it.

I think I'm going to use 3D modeling since I have easy access to 3D printers.

I got my screen in the mail from China and hooked it up today. I removed some components on the board for the screen and now the Wii motherboard fits nicely on top of it. I have never played a Wii or a GameCube in anything but composite and I was very surprised by how nice the video looks in component.

The screen is an Eyoyo one and there is a thread about it here if you want more info. https://bitbuilt.net/forums/index.php?threads/5-inch-eyoyo-component-screen.1967/

It's really nice to be able to work on this again after battling the flu and having my wisdom teeth removed.
