Hi! I've been lurking around the forums for quite some time now; hopefully one day I'll be able to make a portable wii. Anyways, because I live in Italy I can't buy the WLC-100 (It doesn't seem to be on amazon.it). So I wanted to ask: is this a good soldering station? From what I can understand, it's a 60 W soldering station which is temperature controlled, can go from 200 to 480 °C and comes with a desoldering pump, a sponge, a brass sponge, 5 tips and some anti static tweezers. I'm not quite sure if it'll be good enough for making a wii portable so I wanted some advice. Also, if you live in Italy, can you recommend a good soldering station? Thanks.

That will probably do for making a Wii portable. You'll probably have to crank it to desolder ground plane anchors, but it should do the job. Just make sure to get some half decent no-clean liquid flux to use with it. You could message Aurelio to ask about equipment available in Italy, he's a pizza lad as well!
