I dont know if this has not been documentated but if it hasn't I think this can patch the dvd checks
Well the point is that the dvd checks are just at the start of the game. You can unplug it after 30 second and the game will still run

That's not really how it works, the wii doesn't just arbitrarily check if the disc drive is plugged in or not... Since the disc drive is an essential part of the system, the people who wrote usb loaders assumed there would always be at least a working disc drive board inside the wii, so any calls that are sent to the disc drive that don't need to be redirected aren't. That saves time and effort since you would need to find and rewrite every call that is ever sent to the disc drive (which is what neek2o does, which is why we use it)
