Hi everyone
I been working on a N64 for a few weeks now and this is my second time that I try to build one so I hope I can finish it this time here's what I have so far.
im using some parts from a RDP that i have and it doesn't work anymore only the screen works, also im using the buttons for L and R on my case
here's the board already trimmed and working
Here's again bent
Instead of using cartridges I decided to use an everdrive that I have just to make the case smaller.
so after I solder all the wires i tested to see if it works and it did
Here's the controller trimmed too
For my case I used CAD to design it,this is my first time using CAD and i think it came out pretty good
here`s the front case
as you see here it looks like the case from the RPD...but this one looks better
Back case
on this one I've put some of the air vents from the Nintendo 64 console that are in the bottom part of the Nintendo 64 not just to honor that beautiful console But also so that it doesn't overheat also the Nintendo Logo
on top i have more air vents, the Z button, the SD card slot also where the on and off switch is going to be,the audio jack too,and the volume.
I will be printing the case in the next few days and I hope everything goes well.
