Hi,
this is my seconde PS2 build is finally done!

Feature List:

• 5.5 hdmi to mipi screen 1080*1920 IPS
• Digital audio
• SD card for storage
• USB-C Charging
• 2x 18650 batteries
• Controlled backlight & audio through the dpad
• Headphone jack
• Auto boot ps2 no need for extra button
• 3d printed case in black
• Redesigned ps2 MC

1- Power mangment+ digtal audio from @Gman + usb to sd card circuit.


2- 2- On the right side is the PS2 MC and the other one is for the dpad, it has a TS3A44159 which i use to control the backlight & audio and a little mcu " to control the mux + boot the ps2 without an extra button" also i used a rg350p joysticks they are same as the switch dimensions and they are working in a full range, highly recommend for the OEM controllers.



3- Controller, i got my hands on these shrinked chinese controllers since the ps2+ is not compatible with many games especially with what I want to play lol.




4-Screen extension, the screen I've used comes with this extension between the board and the screen


to make things more tidy, I redesigned it and i added a RGB to HDMI circuit + controller and the connection between the 2 pcbs on the left and right

What a beautiful and compact portable! I especially like the modern MIPI panel and the transplanted RGB to HDMI circuitry. Incredible that it's only a little bigger than a Vita.

Via microcontroller, it gives the ps2 a “pulse” when the PMS is turned on

I bought this screen from chinese website called taobao through a proxy service since they does not ship internationally, but I believe you can find it in AliExpress too.

I absolutely love this, Can you point me in the trim guide for the ps2 where I can get it that small? The publically available gman one still has a bunch of stuff on the board that I don't see in the smaller trims people use for these ultra-small and light builds.

It’s a kaico ps2 to hdmi adapter, iirc the chip in top is ms9282 the other one is stm8 controller

what are the connections that you wired from the PS2 to the HDMI?

Is it Red, Green, Blue, 5v & Ground

I see that you connected 7 wires

if you mean the kaico pcb the other two pads are L&R audio
