I think you have a little shit of solder that make a short here :
Always check that there is no solder that has fallen in places where you would not want before powering your board.

What type of PMS you use ?
You have a LDO for the 1.8V line ?

Personally for the encoder I have wired the 5 V here (only) :

I’m using the one from bitbuilt store ps2 was working perfect before I decided to trim a bit more

Why use an Ldo? also I still get 5v there I’ve tested all the voltages from every point and they seem to work

Mhh strange ...
Show your video solder on the board, maybe it is that ?

Everything looks fine from what I can see. Are you pressing reset connected to ground?

Check continuity from the 5v spot to 5v on the video encoder. Just to be sure there isnt some current leaking somewhere and that is what you are measuring.

I have a push button connected to the reset spot on ps2 and other end to the pms.

you want me to check the amps running thru both 5v spots?

Which spot on pms? It is suppose to be to ground (any ground). Or you can connect the ps2 reset to the R pad which will do the signal automatically. But for testing purpose its better to use a pushbutton until you verify it working.

No I mean measuring the resistance, it should be close to 0 ohms

This spot later tonight I will make changes and test resistance thanks for the help

Oh alright thats not correct. BTN is wired to tact switch to ground. This turns on the regulators when you hold it down for 1 second. Another switch to ground is wired to ps2 reset which turns on the ps2 after voltage is applied

Do you have press the first button (PMS button), then the PS2 reset.
Not both at the same time ?
