What's up Bitbuilt! I've been waiting for a few months to gather parts, tools, and resolve, and I've finally reached the worklog starting point.
I have all the parts and tools I need, except a replacement screen (I broke the first one, :facepalm:) . Anyways, I also got my case and installed BBLoader onto my Wii.
I have been absorbing as much information as possible, and I trimmed the Wii a few days ago. The name Smokii is only because I am using a black case. I will get pictures posted when I can!
P.S. The Wii is four layer board.

I thought about doing a G-Wii too, but decided on the Louii.
Here are some photos:
The Wii trim (works, but needs to be trimmed a hair more on one side.).

The GC+ 2.0, confirmed and working!:

I am still waiting on the screen, and I have not tested the U-Amp.
I will soon start getting parts in the case.

I'm pretty sure the two smaller ones are stranded and the biggest is solid.
===UPDATE===
My screen came yesterday. But for some inexplicable reason, the picture is upside down :?:. Any ideas? Please??

In the OSD you'll find a setting to rotate the picture orientation. It may be listed as something obscure like "Type 1", but it'll be there.

Also you really shouldn't use solid core wire for power delivery, get yourself some stranded and leave the magnet wire for data lines.

You mean like SYS1? There was a setting like that and I tried it but it did not seem to do anything.
Also yeah, I think I will drop the solid-core wire.

Holy cow it's been a long time!
Ordered new parts and will hope to finish this project soon.
One odd issue: test closed the case and now some of the buttons are really tight to press, as well as the case bending up. I have checked for obstructions and nothing seems to be causing trouble.
