So it's finally time to post this project in this section I believe.
It's been quite a while since I started this project and it kind of evolve over the years. From thinking of using DVD drive all the way back in 2013 to looking into obscure hard drive setup for the slim, experimenting with different setups and finally using a raspberry Pi2 as a SMB.
I'm quite happy with the result and being able to appreciate the games at full speed.
Portable features:
- Games loading through ethernet port with a Raspberry Pi2 as a SMB server.
This result in the game running a near full speed and smooth FMV.
- VGA (RGBHV) and composite video
- Battery indicator turning on at 6.5v for a 20mins notice
- External memory card for slot 1 so that I can "switch"
setup between portable and TV.
- Internal Free MCboot memory card on slot 2
- PS3 rest switch with led when the system is turn on
- Digital volume and screen controls button
- Charge port and play ports
Here is a video show the portable along with some gameplay and FMV footage.
I tried to speed up a few parts to make it easier to view.
And a few glamour shots, sorry didn't have time to do some nature shot yet

Thanks again for the support I got on this great forum.
