Discussion New Beginner Just lookin for pointers to help get started

hi im very knew to the portablizing scene and just want some useful tips to help. im trying to make a wii portable with built in controls and need help with things like relocation, how to wire up the built in controller and if you can solder directly to the vias after you trim. if anyone can provide pictures and/or articles of a OM6 trimmed motherboard with things like how and where the screen,controls and power hook up after trimming, that would be very helpful. Thanks.
