Omega47
.
Well... I named it like that because I ran out of ideas lol. And I'll also do things my own way in some aspects of my first ever portable
This builds on the work i made on my flexible PCB here
Planned specs/goals:
Here's the tentative CAD Model built on FreeCAD:
Right now, the trimmed Wii board is in an ugly state visually but it works great!
Also surprised that those Wii GPU signals can travel so far as well. Ground interleaving between the signal pins seems to have helped alot:
And the battery is here as well:
It was for a Blackview BV9100, was rated at 13000mah but me and @YveltalGriffin isn't so sure about that after we double-checked the dimensions.
And also i get to play with a MPS evaluation kit for my charging chip so thats fun
Anyways.. we'll see how this goes Stay tuned!

Planned specs/goals:
- ~200mm width, ~100mm length, ~30mm thick
- No intervening analog audio/video signals at all, integrating gcvideo and an RTD266x, with a plan for swapping it with @Aurelio's Direct Drive when it becomes available.
- No magnet wires, only using FPC's as board interconnects. Most of the wiring will be power rails only (doesnt make sense to make flex pcb's out of those, way too expensive lol).
- 5 inch LCD from BuyDisplay. I like their panels for the quality and price.
- Highly integrated components, striving to do all the heavy lifting in a single motherboard, with only the controller daugtherboards being the exception.
- Will be fully open sourced after it's done.
