Another mini-update: I'm going to try my hand at a LMAO trim and see what happens. Wish me luck, kids.

So I did my six layer trim and everything seems to be working fine. Now, there's been the issue of vertical space. I think my solution will work nicely:

Everything thus far has been cemented in place with melted ABS, but I plan to do additional filling with Bondo shortly.

Spooky looking :P
Make sure you deal with the heat well, I know 6 layers get pretty hot if not cooled well. You'll also probably want to cement the battery door on and cut out that compartment to store your actual batteries (I assume 18650s :P)

Doh didn't see that

Well this is a very impressive project, looking forward to more updates
Thanks! Yeah, it's still very comfortable. Actually a bit MORE comfortable if you ask me; I always thought GC controllers were a little small.

I have a pretty decent heatsink and fan setup going. I might take it a little farther though. As for the batteries, I'm actually considering doing without ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I mean, I have to be plugged into a screen to use it anyways, there's generally gonna be a power source available.
