Question Is it safe to buy soldering gear from sites like Aliexpress?

I'd like to get into console modding, but first I need to get good soldering gear. The problem is that the gear that is usually suggested here either doesn't ship to my crappy country, or the shipping is twice the price of the product. That's why I though on searching through sites like Aliexpress, but I'm not really sure if what I'll get will be decent, so, has anyone here experience with buying things like soldering stations or reflow station from those kinds of sites?

Btw, I can't either buy it locally as the only thing soldering related that are sold here are those crappy soldering irons with no regulation or interchangeable tip :/
