After seeing that the regulators for the RVL-PMS were out of stock everywhere I decided to modify the original PMS to use different regs!
Instead of the Texas Instruments regulators it uses 3 RT8070ZQW to step the Bat voltage down and the FP6276AXR-G1 to boost it to 5v.
It retains the same PIC firmware and BAT protection circuitry as the original PMS.
I have also integrated a footprint for the U10 so that it can reside on this PCB as I fucked up the normal relocation spot.

However, after the PCBs arrived I noticed that I forgot the most important thing: the GND terminal:facepalm:
So I had to scratch a GND plane but thats about the only problem that I have encountered so far, but I also haven't soldered the components on to it as they have yet to arrive so I can't confirm if they are gonna work at all.

So far I'm very happy with how they've turned out, especially how crisp the silkscreen looks!

Awesome, and when it works it's a very satisfactory feeling of achievement haha
