I'm getting £100 (roughly $129) since it was my birthday 3 days ago and was wondering if I should look for a good cheap soldering iron, I already have a 15W soldering iron which obviously isn't that powerful and takes long to heat up: Soldering Iron

Any recommendations would be great thanks guys!

This is the one I use. It works really well for its price.

I know someone people have reflow/soldering iron set ups which could be useful. That's something you may want to consider. if you're looking for a really good iron this hakko one is supposedly one of the best. But I've personally never used it.

I use the same one that @Chaos uses, and yeah, at that price point it's pretty good. If you plan on soldering a lot, and doing advanced stuff, maybe it's worth it to invest in something more, but for me it definitely gets the job done.

I use a radioshack station (example from ebay), I got it because it was the only thing they had in the store, and I needed a better iron. It's pretty decent for it's price, though the hakko will be higher quality if you want to spend the extra money.
