Hi guys,
I am currently planning my first Wii portable and am wondering whether there is the need for both a GC+ and a classic+ ? I assumed all games that don't use Wii motion controllers can be played with the GC+ but looking to clear this up. Is a classic + needed?
Thanks

The GC+ is just a Gamecube controller replacement, atm it can only be used in Wii games that natively support the Gamecube controller. The Classic+ is a replacement for the classic controller, but it needs to be connected to a Wiimote to work, just like a real classic controller. The Classic+ isn't needed unless you want to play Wii games that support the classic controller, but not a Gamecube controller.
