Hi there - I'm building a handheld for playing (emulating) melee online via slippi/dolphin. It's derived from an ascii gcc and utilizes an azule access 4 SBC. Really, I should say this is the 3rd time I'm rebuilding it. About a month ago I was troubleshooting some power issues and accidentally pumped 12v into the entire 5v circuit, frying everything.
After shedding real tears, and mourning the loss of the ascii controller mobo, I'm giving it another go.
My first new roadblock is using the GC+ 2.0 and ashida controller PCBs as a replacement for the controller. Unfortunately I can't get any button or pot signals to register with dolphin's controller config. I've double checked my wiring, made sure the gcc pc adapter is set to "PC" and wired correctly. Dolphin detects the adapter but no button / pot activity at all.
Am I right that the GC+ 2.0 should perfectly emulate a regular GCC and work with PC adapter + dolphin same as an OEM controller? I'm wondering if it's specifically designed for Wii somehow and won't work the way I'm trying to use it...any help is much appreciated!
