I'm not sure if this is allowed to be posted so correct me if I should delete it, but I was on the bus and my GBC spontaneously stopped working. I've checked the batteries, and used an acid brush with isopropyl alcohol to get corrosion off the contacts. (I got it from a friend that said pay shipping and it's yours)
Here are some pictures and a video please help.

Ok, are there any simpler possiblies? Also I was playing it then it just stopped. As you can see in addition the light blinks for a split second and the speaker turns on for a split second too.

Replacing capacitors is about as simple as it gets when it comes to console repair. If you purchase replacements I doubt it'd take you any more than 10 mins to swap them out.

Okay, I gave up on this a while ago, I was bored and like, fine I'll go on eBay and buy the capacitors. Then of course I got distracted and thought how the GBC case and buttons are so comfortable I should make a GBC raspberry pi. I was looking at the specs of the screen and accidentally turned it on. Now it won't stop working.

So sorry, didn't know if that was still viable with it turning on again. I realize now that capacitors can do that. Thank you again for your patience and help giving me options, I didn't mean to ignore your advice, simply add information to see if this was still a likely explaination. I also opened up the power switch to clean it up. It didn't do anything. Also realize I double posted, sorry!
