I just finished assembling a ps2 90004 in my own design with a 7" display via hdmi connection, I also installed an esp32 module with blueretro because I left the video enabled on the headphone jack so you can play wirelessly, the thing is that it seemed quite big I tried to do it for little money because I had a lot of leftovers and leftover parts so I also reused the turbine casing of the ps2 90004 and that made me give it a little more thickness reaching 34mm I will put up photos to see the result, I have some videos but you can't upload videos directly to the forum, right? The thing is that it seemed big to me so I set myself the challenge of creating one with the right screen size but not small and making it as compact as possible I will put up some captures of fusion 360 to see how you see it, greetingsIMG_1227.pngIMG_1230.pngIMG_1228.pngIMG_1231.pngIMG_1258.jpegIMG_1266.jpegIMG_1267.jpegIMG_1280.jpegIMG_1375.jpegIMG_1376.jpeg
I prepared it to give it a coat of paint

Once assembled it looked like this

I really liked how it turned out but maybe it was a little big, that's why I want to make a smaller model,
The measurements of the cut and the idea of locating the control cuts are thanks to the videos of @Fly_5 that encouraged me to create my own model, greetings and my thanks to him

The smallest model I want to build would be the one I'm showing you now, this would have a 5" display in 4/3 which would be the correct resolution, this would only have 18650 batteries but I would put in higher capacity ones,It only remains to design the L R push buttons

I was thinking of putting this USB-C charging module that also balances the 2s battery, how do you see?

Hi guys, today I'm going back to the model I showed you up there. I wanted to show you the inside and how I removed the headphone jack and the USB-C for charging. The module I put from AliExpress is really small and balances the charge of a 2s.

Everything is very tight and I will surely have to make adjustments, that is what this whole idea of having fun with what one likes is about, right?

Parabens mano muito bom seu trabalho
Thank you very much, I put a lot of effort into this second model and the truth is that it will be quite compact, I hope it closes with all the components

Hi guys, I have some progress on my PS2 model and I wanted to show you how it's coming along, although I'm still missing some important ones like the energy system and the control, I think it will turn out well, I hope you like it, greetings.

I powered the dysplay with 3v directly from the ps2 and it works fine, but the audio chip that the screen drive incorporates does not work with 3v. I put a regulator with 4.5v to give it extra power, that solved it. I looked for the chip schematic to see the pin out and thus know where the audio came in and connected the PS2 audio there and it worked without any problem.
