Hey all,

Been lurking for a while in this forum for a while and have decided to start my build.

I have a good deal of soldering experience as well as some modding experience and am looking forward to a (hopefully) working product.

I have a couple of questions regarding some of the other aspects:

1. Can the internal USB device circuit be used to charge the onboard batteries or are you required to have a different source to charge?
2. What 5" displays have people had success with in the past? The ones I seem to find have very mixed reviews.
3. I have some 32 gauge magnet wire, what other thicknesses are recommended in addition to this?

1. You'd need to design a custom pcb for that
2. The BOM has some links, I assume you want to do VGA? This should work

2. Don't Bump Old Threads
The only reason you should be bumping old threads is if you have something of value to add. For example, if there is a GameCube video out diagram and you've found a new location to pull video from, by all means, post your findings on the thread. However, if someone has a for sale thread from three years ago, don't bump it! They probably don't even have what they were selling anymore and there is a private message feature for this reason.
