So I just saw a video from the King of Random on YouTube and they were experimenting with super glue and mentioned that you can use super glue and baking soda for filling in gaps and such in plastic and other things. Pack the hole with baking soda and then apply the super glue and it hardens instantly and is super strong (no pun intended).

Has anyone tried this? I was considering trying this as an alternative to epoxy since it would be easier to get the exact amount and shape you want and lessen the need for reapplication and excessive sanding.

Can't give specific examples, But I know people do it all the time.
Gamecube controller modders do "notches" into the analog gate, so it lands on specific spots. and this is sorta hard, and so, to fix it, they use baking soda and super glue to fix it usually(because they paint over it)
Dunno about large surface area's though
