Dsi sliders

Hello I'm new to this all I've built a GC portable I'm now planning to make a Wii portable and I'm getting all the parts .....my question is can I use dsi sliders instead of the 3ds slider will they work the same??

Those don't exist...Are you thinking of something else? 3DS sliders look like this.

Oh ok I see I ordered them on eBay they were labeled as dsi replacement sliders ...turns out there 3ds sliders....
