Question Can you use scissors to cut a board?

(SOLVED)So I was breaking apart my 3ds (tiny ass screws made me have to brute force it) to get the buttons from it so I could use them on my portable wii and a piece of the board was blocking the buttons, so I don't have a dremel so I decided to use scissors on it and to my fucking surprise it actually worked so that got me thinking, could you use scissors to cut the board for a wii? Or any other console for that matter? Or am I just being a dumbass?

No do not use scissors, it doesnt have the force to cut the motherboard.
