4 layeri was acctually wondering if it works with the modern $ layer boards
I understand, I didn't feel any malice. If you need help, you can send me a private message. I don't know which order is yours. My second language is Japanese, and I can communicate without barriers. I'm not good at English.ok wasnt judging u just wondering
It does not. Ohkin's boards are reproductions of the old opensourced 1.0 version of the PMS. The current 4layertech 2.X designs use different parts and a different protocol. They are not inter-compatible in any arrangement AFAIK. Also worth noting, that 1.0 PMS does not have reverse polarity protection. If you wire your cells in backwards, it will kill the PMS.i was acctually wondering if it works with the modern $ layer boards
this makes it harder nowIt does not. Ohkin's boards are reproductions of the old opensourced 1.0 version of the PMS. The current 4layertech 2.X designs use different parts and a different protocol. Be sure to double check everything before connecting the cells.
the new pms 2 and lite are already expensive as is but im not giving up easily WILL find a waythis makes it harder now
What are so different about the protocols i have the Dustin pcbs for the gc+ and rvl ampdifferent parts and a different protocol
Sorry, I should have been more specific. The GC+ and AMP boards will work fine, it's the current generation PMS and PD modules specifically that are not compatible with each other across generations. You can't use a PD2 or PD3 with the 1.0 PMS, and can't use the old 1.0 PD module with a current generation PMS or PMSLite. What are so different about the protocols i have the Dustin pcbs for the gc+ and rvl amp
so theoretically it should work with the pms 1.0
