I'm starting my first ps2 portable but i need help wiring this LCD screen taken from a portable dvd player WIN_20210818_11_39_33_Pro.jpgWIN_20210818_11_42_54_Pro.jpgthe good thing about this dvd player is that it kinda looks like wii u gamepad and i was thinking about using it for my built too, as you can see in the pictures WIN_20210818_11_40_36_Pro.jpgWIN_20210818_11_41_13_Pro.jpg this comes with 2 Ni-MH AA1500 7.2V batteries which i could use in my build, I know a little about soldering I'm having trouble figuring out where to solder the AV from the ps2 to the screen, do i need to buy a driver board like this one https://www.buydisplay.com/5-inch-lcd-screen-tft-module-800x480-vga-video-av-driver-board to be able to use it or can i solder the AV wires from the ps2 to the LCD screen directly

The other driver board, the bigger one that feeds the smaller two. The ones you've shown are what looks like a backlight regulator and FFC adapter.

That board you threw away is the board that converts standard video inputs into the correct datastream for the LCD panel, what you have left from that device is useless now.

As for the other one, one or more of those 3.5mm jacks will have a pin that accepts composite video. You'll have to figure out which pin that is and wire it

what is the model of the PS2 youre using? (it looks REALLY different than the slim 79001 model)
That is because it isn't a 79001, its 75001 or so, it's the board with the built in dvd drive on the motherboard. If it was a 70000 ish series there'd be a dial up port, but still not a 79001
