Hi Everyone,

It's been about 5 years and I'm ready to get back into things. But, I'm super behind on latest developments related to PS2. I have been reading as much as I can but 5 years is a lot to cover. I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some of the highlights that I can look deeper into.
Last time I checked we had FMCB + OPL which enabled slow USB1 loading, fast HDD loading on the older model ps2s, and med network loading. I think one of the guys on psx-scene (which doesn't exist anymore?) also was able to force a memory card slot to talk to an SD card in SPI mode. Has there been any other interesting developments?

I think @Lightning and I were last looking into the exposed SSBUS contacts (IDE?) on some of the 7XXX series motherboards. I seem to remember he was looking at basically adding the HDD compatibility into the slim models and I was hoping to add a FPGA + SD card slot onto the bus (either hardware emulation of an existing device or custom driver).

I've noticed that Mister M has been designing his own PCB which is awesome.

Thanks in advance
