I'd like to do something like podcasts in the future. Basically it'd be either TeamSpeak or Skype calls, record the entire thing and discuss one topic. The podcasts would be hosted here on the forum and are open to all members. Would anyone like to join in?

I would do that. If you do one on the wii, let me know, and I could certainly contribute. Here are some ideas for topics of discussion:

History of Portablizing and advancements in the community
History of Portablizing Community forums and Meta
Batteries
Custom Regulators
EMI Shielding
Cooling and efficiency
Revisions of Consoles
Moores Law and Die Shrinks
LCD Screens, Digital video vs Analog, and Progressive vs Interlaced
The pursuit of a perfect case

Storytime with ShockSlayer. I would also love to do some episodes with certain guests recounting how certain things came about.

Sweet. :D

There's definitely an interest so we'll set something up for next weekend hopefully. What platform would work best for everyone? TeamSpeak? Skype? I'm game for whatever we use.

Slack added voice chat, it's probably the best messaging client for teams imo. I guess I could go download teamspeak or vent or something though.

I'd be up for it. If you'd like it to be an open discussion (anyone joins and leaves at will), teamspeak would probably be best for that, otherwise skype would work unless we can find something with higher audio quality.
