This board takes digital audio right from the N64's RCP and runs a headphone/stereo speakers. This is a cost-optimized subset of the audio functionality from UltraHDMI and PPR.
As you know, N64's audio can't be simply piped into a dac. So this takes care of everything. I know lots of people bought UltraVGAs but even using them don't want to retain large analog parts of the mobo since there was no other way to do audio, now that's no longer an issue.
Board size is a super tiny 1.5 x 0.8 inches.
Projected unit cost is $25 ea. If the number of buyers increases the cost can possibly go down.
