Dearest BitBuilt members,

Thank you all so much (especially Stitches) for your help in getting my Ashida to work (almost). However, I do still have a few issues.

#1: No audio. I am getting no audio to headphones or the speakers, but if I hold the case open in a very specific way, I can get very choppy audio that resembles what I should be hearing. I bet this is some sort of interference, but I'm not quite sure where it is coming from.

#2: My controls are a little weird. I can play Mario Kart Wii okay because it has native gamecube controller support but I can't get Lego Batman 2 to work. I set up GC2Wiimote, but when I enable it and configure the controls, they don't seem to work in game. I also cannot set my left Z button to anything in GC2Wiimote, but I'm not sure how that works because it's not quite a native button.

Other than this, I have been pretty happy. Thank you all for your help :)

-Did you solder the speakers to the contacts on the controller pcb? if not, the issue with no audio might be the speaker legs not making contact with the pcb.
-Is headphone sense soldered correctly?
-left z button cannot be used in gc2Wiimote i think
Could you post some photos of the inside of your portable?
(take all my advice with a grain of salt lol, i am also new to all this, so i might not be correct on some of this)
