None, but hopes to build a New 2DS XL inside the shell of a regular 2DS one day
Has anybody thought about modding a portable console that has the motherboard of any Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft consoles of your choosing inside all in one?
Would this sort of project be possible in any way and/or capacity?
How would it work if it were truly possible?
Please let me know as this is an idea that I have thought about recently but wanted to make sure there are possibilities according to this forum's experts on the matter!

it is posible but it would be sooooooo large even with the smalest motherboards that it would make it as portable as a virtual boy and consume so much energy that you might as well plug it into a wall socket
but if you are interested these guys kinda have the same idea

That is pretty cool, but I was talking about more especially retro consoles like the Wii, PS3, XBOX 360 and Dreamcast for example, would it be possible to create a multi-platform portablized RETRO console? If so, will it end up being similar to the one in the video you showed me to a certain extent and capacity or something completely different as a whole?

I don't know if that's possible, to keep it portable while having 2+ motherboards would be really large and extremely complicated.

It would certainly be possible, though it would end up being quite large as you'd either have to stack motherboards making it Thick or put them side by side making it Long.

If I were to do it I would make it with a wii and ps2 as those are probably the best documented and easiest to portabalize consols. You'd probably need to pms boards connected to your batteries via a 3 way switch (middle would be off, left would be one console, right would be the other).

Finally you'd need a way to swap input to your screen. The easiest way to do this Would be using composite video with a switch for changing the video channels. If you wanted a better quality output you'd need to get a little more creative.

I wish you luck if you do decide to attempt as making it light and wieldy enough to be usable is going to be the biggest challenge.
