    Question VGA Screen Trouble

@jefflongo I did switch to the VGA mode. With no input it shows a blue screen and "VGA" in the top left, with input the backlight shuts off and there's nothing whatsoever. @Arceus what do you mean by "try connecting the VGA to a different device?" The screen to a different computer, or the...

    Question VGA Screen Trouble

I'm stupid. I bought this off of eBay and didn't realize this listing wasn't the exact same thing. It doesn't have an HDMI socket and it would just be dumb to solder one on, but it's the same board,so ig China's the winner of this round .

Life. anyways, finally got to working on my wii again. Got a surprisingly good headphone amp for $20. Tested it and it worked (almost perfectly). Hooked it up to my wii (AV pins, preamp powered by 7v). Incredible static. I'm using shielded wire from some charger (the shield threads also act as...

Question The search for the illustrious 3.5" lcd component compatible driver board

after many years of wandering the abyss and conversing with oriental merchants in their dialect of english, I have found only one option for using YPbPr with a 3.5" screen: the MST703 LCD driver ic supports YCbCr and YPbPr according to this datasheet. It also appears to have automatic video...

frig I was thinking of something like this :rothink::rothink::rothink: would it be too difficult to replace the AVE by hand, provided that I have the tools to do so? could I bend up the h and v pins or are they connected to anything onboard?

    Worklog My First Portable Wii

well, due to noobery, I lost the h and v pins on my ave. I've a few questions: : 1) Does this mean I can't output component anymore? 2) If I can, I wanted to use a component -> hdmi converter for use with a 3.5" screen since i can find any boards that support ypbpr. What should I use?
