    Worklog F-Cubed, a custom force-feedback joystick

Whew, a bit behind in getting this log started, but here we are. My project for the contest is to create a fully custom-made force-feedback 2-axis joystick, for driving robots. Feature/spec list 32 bit ARM processor (Teensy-based microcontroller) Custom motor driver PCB (using ST VNH7070AS...

    Worklog Seer's Wii Laptop

Hehe, progress is very slow. Since the last update I began 3d modelling the case and LCD frame. I'm broke right now so I can't buy any new parts, but recently got a 3d printer and printed a test of the bottom half of the LCD frame. To print the part, I had to split it in to 4 bodies in Fusion...

    Worklog Seer's Wii Laptop

It's been 2 years, but I'm back at it. Those of you in the discord have probably seen my near-spam of my progress, but for the rest I'm updating the first post now.

Worklog Wii motherboard interface PCB / WII Portable (still unnamed)

If I were you, I'd start with the voltage regulators, and work from there. Those are the most important part. Definitely a cool idea though, looking forward to it!

    Worklog Seer's Wii Laptop

Yeah I know about the datasheet, but I was going to continuity test the crap out of it and draw a diagram myself. I like getting to know the board myself better than reading the datasheet. Then I can check the datasheet and confirm what I tested, so I'm double sure about where I want to cut...

I'm back! Latest news is the installation of PortablizeMii, testing of 5 different USB drives, EXTENSIVE usage of laptop (rather than working on it) and the ordering of a BQ24172 Eval Board for charge and play. Once the board comes in I'm going to try and map it out. For trimming of course!

Solved No audio on OMGWTF trim?

I ordered 3 of Mooper's PAM8403 boards from OSHPark, so I might use one of those as a "boost". We'll see!

Solved No audio on OMGWTF trim?

The audio QUALITY is perfect, but the volume level is a bit low. (Could it possibly be that there isn't a preamp? /s) Obviously using the Wii pre-amp is a no-go, so any other suggestions?

Solved No audio on OMGWTF trim?

(sorry for double post :() IT WORKS! I haven't heard sound from this board ever so this is really relieving for me! Thanks guys!

Solved No audio on OMGWTF trim?

I have tried 4 different speakers (a Pioneer stereo system, a bluetooth speaker, headphones, and the speaker+amp that i'm going to use in the laptop) Yeah, that's why going straight from the AVE was my next step. (The trim guide that is) I'm going to go for the AVE output now, and hope it works.

Solved No audio on OMGWTF trim?

That's what my next step is, but I wasn't sure if the AVE could handle the load, so I haven't done that yet. I was going to just put the AVE's audio straight into my speaker amp. Would that be safe?

Solved No audio on OMGWTF trim?

I got an OMGWTF trim commissioned from ShockSlayer, and everything works perfectly except I can't get audio out. I figured since I had run the thing on 17 volts, the preamp had gone. So, I replaced it with a known working one, and no go. I have the Left, Right and GND hooked to a 3.5mm male jack...
