One of the things that could cause this might be that your bluetooth chip in the wii has gone bad. If you have access to another wii/bluetooth chip, i would reccomend trying to swap them and see if that lets your wii boot.

Magnet wire is recommended because it is small enough to fit in a wii via, and because it makes the soldering easier. U10 is a chip that sends the signal to the wii to turn on Not sure on your other questions as i have never built one.

Iirc you need two ground wires? I think. And shouldnt there be 4 voltage lines? 3.3, 1.8, 1.15, and 1v.

You do not need Bluetooth for gc2wiimote to work.

ummmm yeah i am... but it seems to be working now. it is now all working properly, except for audio, but i dont have time to mess with that tonight. the speakers dont output any sound, the pot dosnt change the volume, and if i plug in headphones the screen goes colorful.

yeah i actually just recently moved it to tp47 to see if that would help in any way. it didnt tho sadly. i have also tried to re wire all the vga lines with 34 gauge wire, but that didnt help either.
