    Yet Another RTD2660 Quest

There may be settings you can mess with already in your driver boards specific firmware such as changing the aspect ratio and using auto adjust depending on the input but I'm not sure if your driver board has those settings as the firmware differs from each supplier as far as I know. That might...

Question No signal ps2 advance trim

Everything looks good, but it seems your missing a 3.5V connection on the board: You can connect 3.5V from the other side of the PS14 fuse as shown in the picture I shared to either the little pad, or to the capacitor shown in the second picture.

    Worklog PS2V

Not a major update, but we're going in the right direction! As per my RTD2660 worklog, I explained that I've been trying to do things sequentially and after about 3 weeks of messing around with the screens firmware, I was finally able to get the PS2V logo baked in. Now when the screen is turned...

    Question PS2 Controller

If your looking for the button inputs, you'll have to reconnect the button ribbon cable to the connector and either send a picture of it so we can take a look, or trace back each input yourself

    Question PS2 Controller

What exactly are you trying to find out? All of the general inputs?

    Question PS2 Controller

This looks like a third party controller so you might have to plug the button ribbon (assuming it has one) back into it and trace each button back to the pins on the connector to find out what is what Can you plug it back in and lay it out flat and show me a picture of it like that?

    Yet Another RTD2660 Quest

Update time! The Beginning of Phase 3 So I've been trying to prioritize the PS2V specific stuff for the screen before moving on to the other features the community wants to see and boy has it proven to be difficult so far. First on my list of things to was to display a custom logo on...

Board scan BOARD SCAN PS2 90006-90010

What type of console do you have? I.e NTSC or PAL? Sometimes this can happen if you connect your NTSC console to a PAL TV and vice versa It's likely that if you have a NTSC console and are playing PAL games on a PAL TV for example, that the menu is running in NTSC mode (so to speak) which is...

    Worklog PS2V

Update time! So I've largely put this project on hold as I dove down a sub-project rabbit hole that is the RTD2660, and I've made some really good progress! You can find the separate worklog here: https://bitbuilt.net/forums/index.php?threads/yet-another-rtd2660-quest.6786/#post-71826 I have...

    Yet Another RTD2660 Quest

In my specific use case (for the PS2) I know that games tend to switch between 480i and 240p on the fly so ill most likely need to add support for handling that but with that, I could look into stand alone 240p support. As far as supporting and fixing other inputs that you've mentioned, I'll...

    Yet Another RTD2660 Quest

As far as I know, the code base I'm working with is pretty messy and a lot of things are broken, but I could look into adding YPbPr support! It would require either a custom PCB or getting an existing driver board with the inputs configured but it's definitely possible!

    Yet Another RTD2660 Quest

Update time! I didnt expect to get things figured out as quickly as I did regarding phase 2, but here we are! Phase 2 So before I ever even got a programmer for phase 1, I was able to obtain a firmware base and try compiling it but its been giving me issues since day 1. The main software...

    Yet Another RTD2660 Quest

As some of you may know, I’ve been pretty invested in a project im doing on the PS2 side of the forums called PS2V. Without getting into too many specifics as its outlined in my worklog, the project has been brought to a halt while I figure out the lcd screen side of things. TL;DR I wanted to...

Question Can i reuse the original regulators from my ps2

You probably could, however it would take a lot of figuring out as there is no documentation on using the original regulators and they wouldn't be near as efficient as using a newer, more robust custom regulator solution. I would go with custom regulators personally!
