Hey all, building Ashida currently as a summer project and I’m ordering the case from PCBway and I am wondering what kind of resin I should use, and also what is the exact color hex of the original purple gc controllers? (2nd is sort of a joke question but I really would like to know) thanks!

It’s whatever at this point. Once I’ve honed my skills at electronics I’ll try my hand at a g boy but as for right now my brain barely has a grasp on the Ashida I’m putting together

What materials should I use for 3d printing from them both in terms of durability and cost, and is injection molding worth the extra cost?

You can still make one, the case cad filed are open source and all the pcbs are on 4layer’s website

Is there anything specific that makes the g boy a more difficult build?

How can I make my own

Ok thanks for the help, I’ll order a wii for trimming in the morning when I wake up Also what trimming tool should I use if I don’t have a dremel or a similar tool

I really want to get down to business and just bang everything out real fast and get everything done with my portable before school starts but I just can’t see that happening now as I can’t even make up my mind on what to build, how can I stop this and get it done?

The ones I liked were the louii twoii, the g boy, and the ashida. I like all of them more bit I also might consider doing a g wii as I’ve heard it’s relatively simple.
