I dont think those provide enough current. And its too bulky. And the battery life woupd be terrible.

Nope, not nearly enough current/capacity for a wii. While you technically can run it on AA cells, you'll get about 20-30 mins of playtime for 10 AAs in a 5x2 config. Also, you'll permanently damage the cells by drawing that much current (not to mention, when you take them out they will be extremely hot).

If you try it, you're gonna mumble those cells. Stick to li-ion packs and wall power, it's safer.
