Hello everybody. I am a 11 year old planning to make a Wii portable for my 12th birthday. I will get the supplies I need by getting my parents to buy them for my birthday, and its not gonna be something crazy like trimming the board or anything. Infact, I won't even touch the interior of the console. Here are some listing of the parts that I will need to build this.
Battery (12V DC) : https://amzn.to/2U3FsqV
Screen : https://amzn.to/2U2udyV
HDMI Cable : https://amzn.to/2RyQx6k
HDMI Adapter : https://amzn.to/2Ta63lO

"Well Bleron, how the hell is the damn thing gonna be powered?" Good question, I had a entire box filled with random laptop power supplies, so I grabbed all of them and found the perfect one: A very lightweight 12v laptop power supply. I cut off the connector of a real Wii power supply and replaced it with the connector on the laptop power supply (And I did this a few minutes ago and it worked flawlessly) and it worked. Meaning that all I need now is those 4 components. Please wish me luck!

That is great! Its gonna be pretty neat once its done i think. Just curious though, what are you doing for a case for it all? I think a tubberware container may work well but I'm sure you can find the right thing! Its gonna be a little big, but if the goal is to have a battery powered wii with a built in screen you are definately on the right track.best of luck!

There is not going to be a case. I am not trimming the board but just powering it via battery w/ a display mounted on the side of the console. Hope this answered your questions!
