Hey guys, quick question. Do you need a converter or microcontroller to wire a 3ds slider directly to an original Nintendo Classic Pro controller and it work just fine? I've seen something about connecting resistors for dead zones and all but wasn't sure if that was due to directly wired to the controller or if that went through a converter or microcontroller first. Thanks in advance!

If you want a quick solution, you could buy a gc+ for the 3ds slider capability. And then you could always buy a gamecube to classic controller converter. Then all you would have to do is wire the gc+ to the converter.

It is probably not the best fix, but it would work.

Wow, I didn't even know that existed and I have a gc+. I will try that, thanks!

Does anyone know if you can wire the sliders directly to the 1st part controller?

Yes, you can. Sliders will work with the first party controller, but they have some issues with deadzones and range. Aurelio created the GC+ to rectify those issues and generally improve function compared to OEM controllers.
