Question Trying to ready the Wii for BBloader

Ok so I installed homebrew on my stock Wii with an sd card, and now I need to install BBLoader. Can I just use my old SD card that I used to install homebrew? What other things should I add to homebrew? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m new to this and I’m really nervous about messing something up.
