Hi folks & welcome to the worklog of my last n64p.

The Nintendo 64 always has been one of my favorite consoles of all time. Most likely because it came out when i was a kid and i remember playing it A LOT. Anyways, after disassembling my first n64p very quickly and quite a few dead n64's by now, i left my last working n64 trim lying around a long time.

But it should rise again! It's 90deg. bended card slot, combined with the VGA power of the N64 advanced board and the compatibility of a everdrive64 where calling me to build the 'ultimate' n64p!

Long story short / specs:
- Trimmed n64 + cardslot 90deg. bending
- Memory pak, also 90deg. bended
- N64 Advanced powered VGA output (480p)
- 5" 4:3 VGA Screen (640x480)
- Everdrive64, internalized
- Custom Switch Buttons (thx madmorda)
- 2x 18650 2500mAh
- possibly classic red board = 2s1p
- or PMS = 1s2p ?!
- audio, controls n' shit

The case design is based on the woodii, since the n64 board fit into one of it's proto prints just perfect. I reduced the width quite a bit. Current outside dimensions are: 177x102x34mm

The first prototypes looked promising i hope i can print the final case soon.

Currently i'm trying to figure out how to keep my smolboi chill. considering the space that's left inside the case, easier said then done.. thanks to the bended pcb & expansion slot,

I really wanted to get an advanced board for my portable, but missed out on a run of populated boards by a few days, nothing else came up in the meantime. Looking at your work I doubt I'd have pulled off that soldering. Hats off to you.

Always shuned the idea of an N64 portable, but I guess I just didn't like the original N64 joystick. Great job looks great. Love the case design and 3ds slider!

Long story short: The Last64 [Rev. 1] is done.

... but overheating after about 30 minutes... So the case needs a lot of redesign. I need to turn the mainboard around, to get it some fresh air..

As I'm currently on vacation i might work on this the next weeks. at least it's very easy to disassemble :D

Looks really nice! Assuming you wet sanded the case? It looks nice and smooth. And it's even overheating with the fan?!

After making the release of the Miicro & upgrading my Prusa Mk2S to MK2.5S, I finally want to finish this boi..

So I redesigned, printed & sanded the case.. had to make it 5mm thicker because i needed to turn the mainboard around to address the cooling issues the v1 had... anyways, today i migrated the front parts to the new front print. Thanks to the textured printbed i didn't need to sand that much this time, jey! The case looks pretty shitty on the sides because i used a shitty print, but I don't care too much at this point... xD

Also I'll use a U-Amp, with headphone output. And made a second player adapter B|
