VERY VERY STUPID QUESTION, but I installed the VGA patch for my Wii before i trim it, do i need a VGA cable to test if it works on my tv? because rn i have a wii to hdmi converter and it shows like a lot of green lines then the screen goes black and it repeats...
A Wii2HDMI expects a component signal, not a VGA one. You can either wire up VGA now or you can use composite until you do get around to wiring up VGA, but you won’t be able to use component cables or a Wii2HDMI unless you disable VGA.
That is not entirely true. Has clearly written in the FAQ:
Q - I want to use VGA in my portable, but I only have a component cable (or Wii2HDMI adapter). How can I test it after I installed it if I selected VGA?
A - To force component video output you must unplug the video cable from the Wii and plug it back while the system is on.

With current plans for VC and emulators in the future is the MX chip needed in the portable to run those? Or is this main components needed just the GPU and CPU on the omgwtf trim

Hey guys. I am currently trying to run this in vwii (Wii U), is it possible to run this with vwii? I am stuck on ios 36-64-v3608 when running bbloader. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, getting message like -1addticket_1070.

I am currently referring to this gbatemp thread and seeing if I can find answers. If op can somehow make a guide for a vwii users I would definitely be on board for this. :)

I have deleted the homebrew channel from the vWii menu cause it was hanging, but apparently HBC is still installed. From what I gather, my issue is IOS58 and that is why I can't run HackMii installer. But keep in mind, I ain't an expert

As Ginger has told you,
BBLoader is not meant to be installed on the vWii, as it's specifically designed for portable Wiis.
Far as I know it's never been tested if BBLoader would work on the vWii, and it's not expected to. It's specifically meant for Wii portables.
So a heads up, don't be surprised if you manage to create yourself a headache with your vWii.

Also use the edit button. There's no need for another post within minutes of your last one if no one has replied.

BBLoader does not work on vWii. There are. Some differences that are not accounted for. There's no planned support for it tbh, sorry

Too busy right now. Will see in a month or so

Thanks for the answer my dear, do you believe that the pause bug and IGR in the wii games are working in the next beta? apart from these two things and the support for the virtual console, it is enough for me to retire my wii remote. A hug and success always.

Hi, I seem to be having an issue getting Covers on Wii titles. I just did it the same as GCN, placing a pic from that website in the cover folder with the game ID. does it have to have the same name as the file in my WBFS folder, or do they both need specific names or something?

Have you ever thinkd open source this?
Aurelio wants to get everything closer to being done/clean up the code before considering open-sourcing the project.

Covers must have the game ID as filename, just like with GC games.
